Independent motion designer since 2010, I help you with the conception of animated audiovisual content, by creating videos and films crafted to your needs. I can take care of your project from start to finish, by aiming to set it into a neat aesthetic approach, in line with your marketing or artistic goals.

Passionate and involved, I also work as a trainer consultant in the fields of motion design, and audiovisual post-production (project monitoring, art direction, Adobe After Effects® training…).

PROCESS

Whether familiar or not to the world of video and motion design, you're in good hands!
With a clear working method and mastered production stages, it is together that we guarantee the success of your project.

I. STRATEGY

Strategy_julienherman.tv.gif — Before launching your project, we define your **marketing and/or artistic needs,** then identify your **objectives and expected results**.
This strategic stage may have already been taken care of by your marketing team; if this is the case, it is simply a matter of gathering all the important elements to set up a **creative brief**.
Brief from which a **proposal** is made to best respond to your initial request.

Pre-Production_julienherman.tv.gif — Then comes the pre-production phase with **copywriting**. This step is usually made possible by a collaborative work where we guarantee, all together, the consistency of the story with the goals outlined previously.
This is also where we make sure that chosen words can be translated into images and motion; with the use of **moodboard** and **storyboard** to help visualize the story, the action, and make any necessary adjustments before diving into production.
This phase ends with the creation of a concept and the validation of a **visual style** perfectly aligned with the objectives.

III. PRODUCTION

Production_julienherman.tv.gif — After having **created and/or gathered visual assets**, along with the **audio drafts** (voice-over selection and recording), **video editing** and **animation** work can start! This is the decisive step where all the magic happens and the elements come to life.
To keep you updated for any possible revision, works in progress are sent regularly.
The creation process is eventually completed with the **mixing** (voice-over, music, sound design) and the **final render** delivery in the required video formats.
