Video editing is the art of manipulating and rearranging video shots to create sequences which form a film. Video editing is usually considered to be one part of the post-production process for the making of motion pictures, documentaries, reports, video or animation clips etc.

Motion design or motion graphic design is the art of graphic conception in motion by addition of typography, graphic design, video, audio, and/or 3D. In other words, it is the art of thinking movement from a graphic and artistic perspective before thinking of it as a physical or technical one.

Color grading is the process of altering and enhancing the color of a motion picture, or video image digitally in corrective or artistic expression purposes.

DVD/Blu-ray authoring is the process of creating a DVD/Blu-ray video capable of playing on a DVD/BD player. The DVD/Blu-ray production process includes several steps: creation of graphic and motion user menus, assets programming, video encoding, disc burning.
